Our Program
American Classical Ballet Academy’s daytime program incorporates intense classical dance training along with serious academic study.
The students of ACBA will be immersed in our rigorous artistic program, as well as a challenging academic course of study. Our Elementary and Intermediate programs were designed to provide a solid academic background while nurturing a love of learning. Our Secondary Program is unique in that it combines a tradition of excellence with a truly customized course to benefit each student. In addition to traditional academic subjects, our students will be enriched by the study of Ballet History, Art History, and Music History. We strive to prepare our dancers to be well-rounded artists by educating the entire person, giving each student the tools to be successful in all aspects of life.
Students study dance 3-4 hours per day, and receive academic training 4-5 hours per day.
Our Academics
Our Academic Department is a critical part of the American Classical Ballet Academy. Our teachers uphold the highest academic standards, always mindful of the time and energy our students expend on their dance training. The academic faculty also shares in the artistic mission of the school, integrating artistic, cultural, and social elements in each course of study. All required courses are taught at each grade level. By integrating academic and artistic studies, each student will explore and find his or her unique place in the living history of the dance.
Our goal is to educate students with the confidence and ability to contribute socially, culturally,
and professionally to the community of ACBA and the world.
Our space is limited, but we are currently accepting applications for enrollment. Please contact 817-471-2222 to inquire.
